Aviation Maintenance Engineer Reference Code ASN50068307-01 Location Kleinburg, ON General Information Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Helicopters, Patrol Aviation Department and based in Bolton, Ontario, TransCanada is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. This position will provide full cycle maintenance activities to our fleet of 3 Bell 206BIII's and ensure all work is in accordance with the requirements of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Company MCM/MPM and the Aircraft Manufacturer. Responsibilities - Maintain, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot company aircraft and their related subcomponents. - Maintain current certification for authority of license through recurrent training, which is paid by TransCanada. - Assume all technical and legal responsibility for maintenance completed, by signing a release statement for maintenance completed. - Ensures that all work is in compliance with pertinent aircraft service bulletins, airworthiness directives and manual revisions Qualifications and Education Qualification - Holds an M1 or M2 AME license with BH06 type training. - Minimum of 3 years industry experience. - Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills. - A commitment to safety, health and environment. - Ability to work independently with minimal direction, comfortable managing multiple priorities. - Versatility in completing tasks in preventive maintenance and repairs - Education - Graduate of a recognized Aircraft Technical Institution. - CAMC Registered Maintenance Technician certification is an asset Posting closes April 25, 2008. ________________________________________ To apply, go to https://careers.transcanada.com/erc/apply.htm and enter reference code ASN50068307-01 To view all of our job postings or to learn more about TransCanada go to http://www.transcanada.com/careers/ Only applications submitted through the TransCanada Careers website will be acknowledged.
