| Job Description | REQUIREMENTS:
• Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate required. FAA Inspection Authorization is highly desirable. RII, FCC, NDT, and similar licenses/certificates are desirable. • Education: Technical Degree or equivalent experience. • Communications Skills: Excellent command of oral and written English. Ability to write technical reports and to liaise with regulatory authorities, equipment manufacturers, repair agencies, and suppliers. • Special Skills: Working knowledge of FAA Regulations, Orders, ACs, etc. Competent using Windows/Office. Ability to adapt to a culturally diverse working environment. • Experience: 10 years rotor-wing aircraft maintenance experience. Experience working with aircraft of the manufacture and type operated by Saudi Aramco, such as Agusta 109 & 139 and Bell 212/412 & 214 highly desirable. QC/QA experience desirable. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs inspections to determine condition of rotor-wing aircraft, engines & appliances, and records any discrepancies found. • Performs inspections to determine if maintenance has been performed per FAA Regulations, Manufacturer Requirements, and Company Policies & Procedures. • Reviews aircraft maintenance records to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Certifies airworthiness of aircraft after inspections, maintenance, and alterations. • Performs Non-Destructive Testing and Borescope inspections. • Performs Weight and Balance computations and updates W&B records. • Assists the QC Lead oversee the daily operations of the QC Group, including assisting with the supervision and training of personnel. • Acts as a company technical representative during outsourced heavy maintenance visits. • Participates in incident investigation and reporting. • Participates in special projects, performs research, and prepares reports. |
