February 25, 2013  By Carey Fredericks

March 8, 2013, Las Vegas, Nv. - AgustaWestland is pleased to announce that it has appointed Rotortrade Services as its exclusive distributor for second hand helicopters worldwide. Rotortrade Services will support the sale of both AgustaWestland and other manufacturer's "trade in" helicopters globally.

This appointment further expands the range of distributorship agreements AgustaWestland has in place across the world, allowing an even more effective exploitation of opportunities offered by this specific commercial market segment, particularly for the sale of pre-owned VIP/corporate and private helicopters.

Emilio Dalmasso, Senior Vice President Commercial Business Unit, AgustaWestland said “The agreement with Rotortrade Services brings their vast expertise and knowledge of the second hand helicopter market to AgustaWestland, to assist with the sale of any used helicopters we have acquired. We are sure our cooperation with Rotortrade Services Pte Ltd will be mutually beneficial and will allow us to assist our customers with the disposal of helicopters they are replacing with new AgustaWestland models.”

Philippe Lubrano, Senior Partner of Rotortrade Sevices added “This partnership has been built between our companies to offer the best possible solutions to customers looking for well-priced helicopters. At the same time that we are associated to AgustaWestland, Rotortrade believes that pre-owned helicopter market is driven by multiple brands. This is why we are here to offer our expertise, to ensure that the buyer always gets the best aircraft for their needs. Beyond simple aircraft sales, we are also prepared to offer warranty, training, technical assistance, and other after-sales services to ensure that the expectations of our clients are met. This is our mindset and we intend to do everything we can to keep it that way.”
