June 22, 2012  By Carey Fredericks

June 22, 2012, Brossard, Que. - AIRMEDIC has announced the opening of its new base at Héli-Tremblant, which will enable the company to optimize and streamline its airborne medical services across the vast Laurentians region.

With its new facility in the heart of the Laurentians, AIRMEDIC will offer the public faster emergency response times while considerably expanding its services to include the tourists and daytrippers who descend on the area every year.

"This marks a major milestone in our growth as a company. With the new base, we'll be able to provide swift airborne medical rescue services to the thousands of skiers, snowmobilers, hikers, hunters, anglers, campers, and other sport and outdoor enthusiasts who flock to the region," said company president Christian Trudeau. "This expanded service will bolster our mission to preserve and save lives—and is a very promising step in the right direction for the future of AIRMEDIC."

As of June 1, AIRMEDIC has been providing temporary seven-day coverage at the rate of $25. It also offers annual coverage at the rate of $120 for individuals, $250 for families, and $150 for single-parent families.
