The Canadian AME Hall of Fame was proposed by Dave Snedden in 2002 to the Canadian Federation of AME Associations and approved at their annual meeting in 2003.
The current home of the Hall of Fame is the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre Museum in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. There are currently 17 recipients from across Canada.
