ASG to host Asia-Pacific helicopter market press conference

Hong Kong-based business aviation consulting firm Asian Sky Group (ASG) will be holding a press conference at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Heli-Expo, held March 6-9 in Dallas, Texas in the HAI Heli-Expo Newsroom (Room D222 of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center).
ASG’s press conference will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 6th of the exhibition and address the current state of the civil helicopter market in the Asia-Pacific region highlighting data and information from ASG’s 2016 edition of the Asia-Pacific Civil Helicopter Fleet Report. This highly-anticipated report delivers data from yearend 2016 on the fleet size, replacement cost, mission, size category and OEM of the complete civil helicopters fleet (excluding pistons) in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as in-depth analysis on offshore activity, helicopter leasing and the fast-growing China market.
ASG’s presence at HAI Heli-Expo also follows the release of the latest installment of Asian Sky Quarterly, which focuses on the pre-owned helicopter market, market dynamics in Asia and features a spotlight on the Sikorsky S-76 C++, as well as an interview with Sikorsky Regional Director, Asia Christophe Nurit.
The conference trails several significant rotary deals closed by ASG in the Asia-Pacific region, including the sale of one Airbus helicopter from an Asia-based operator to an Africa-based operator, the sale of two Airbus helicopters within Southeast Asia from an oil and gas operator to a corporation with growing transportation needs in remote locations and the appointment of ASG as the aviation consultant for an Asia-based helicopter operator.
