November 22, 2010  By Carey Fredericks

Nov. 22, 2010, Langley, B.C. - Associated Aviation announced Sunday the acquisition of Timber Wolf Aviation; a helicopter MRO organization based near Ottawa, Ontario Canada that has successfully provided quality services to the Canadian and United States helicopter market since May of 2004.

“The acquisition and integration of the technical expertise, experience and assets of Timber Wolf Aviation enables Associated Aviation to immediately establish itself as a key player in the North American helicopter MRO market, while also increasing our capabilities” says Rod Youngberg, president and managing partner of Associated Aviation. “Similar to our Timber Wolf colleagues, Associated Aviation has years of experience and we have built our reputation by successfully delivering top quality MRO services to myriad operators utilizing a wide range of helicopter types and models. The addition of Timber Wolf Aviation to our team greatly enhances our portfolio of Transport Canada-approved services; and provides us with an existing Eastern Canadian repair and overhaul operation from which we can effectively extend our services to the North American and International commercial and defence markets.”

Youngberg explains the acquisition of Timber Wolf Aviation increases his company’s ability to provide industry-best technical support based on the flexible delivery business model that has been a cornerstone of the Associated Aviation brand. Furthermore, Youngberg assures customers of Timber Wolf and Associated Aviation that there will be no interruption to service delivery and that all traditional contacts within both operations remain the same.

Associated Aviation prides itself on developing out-of-the-box, cost effective solutions for its customers, and then delivering these services practically anywhere the customer requires; ensuring flexibly delivery and the customer’s operational priorities are at the forefront of all MRO decisions. “We like to say Associated Aviation is ‘the Evolution of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul,’ and based on that motto our goal is to work in partnership with our customers to ensure their individual needs are met to the very highest standards; whether they require aircraft spares or any level of maintenance, repair or overhaul. Then we concentrate on delivering those services in a manner that exposes our customers to minimal downtime and costs.”
