ASU to honour top night vision operators

March 22, 2011, Boise, Idaho - Aviation Specialties Unlimited, (ASU) is now accepting nominations for the night vision awards that will be given out in New Orleans at the Airborne Law Enforcement Association (ALEA) 41st annual conference.


“We honored several deserving operations this year at Heli-Expo in Orlando,” said Mike Atwood Founder and President of ASU.  “We know that there are many other operations around the world that deserve the recognition for what they are doing on a daily basis.  We look forward to honoring more of them at ALEA.”

ASU will give awards for the following categories:
5-year service award
10-year service award
Community Awareness award
Mark of Excellence award

Any flight operation using Night Vision systems is eligible for nominations.  Nominations will be accepted until June 17th.  Nominations can be filled out online or nomination forms can be downloaded online by visiting http://www.asu-nvg.com/asu_night_vision_awards/ A luncheon will be held at ALEA to present the winners with the awards.  Space for the luncheon will be limited.  The time and location of the awards will be announced at a later date.  Award winners are asked to be present at ALEA in order to receive their awards.  For additional information about the awards or ASU call 208-426-8117 or e-mail ASU at info@asu-nvg.com.
