Aviation placement agency says hiring still robust in 2013

August 15, 2013  By Carey Fredericks

Aug. 15, 2013, Fort Worth, Tx. - Aviation Search Group announced management hiring is strong in 2013 and industry leadership search assignments remain on the rise.

When compared to 2012, the first half of 2013 reflected an 11 percent increase in all assignments with the most noticeable increase in executive and management roles.

"We are retained by aviation companies to conduct hundreds of searches each year for personnel ranging from technicians to presidents," says Director of Sales, Grayson Barrows. "This year our assignments have primarily been leadership roles. Management and executive level searches have increased 40 percent for our firm in the first half of '13."

Barrows explains, "The increase in critical leadership search assignments is a noticeable industry indicator. It is important to note these positions were due to growth and not attrition with our clientele."

"Based on strategic planning and consulting with our customers, we do not anticipate this trend changing any time soon. The requirement for solid senior level managers will continue as companies aim to accomplish their goals. This is very encouraging news for the aviation industry."
