Avinco posts solid 2010 despite challenging market

Jan. 25, 2011, Dublin, Ire. - Avinco achieved an impressive 23 helicopter sales in 2010 once again proving its ability to perform in spite of a challenging market.
Avinco sold 23 pre-owned helicopters in the course of 2010, of which four from its own portfolio, comforting its position as worldwide market leader in the second hand helicopter trading segment.
Despite a slow market, Avinco boasts aircraft sales across all regions, ranging from EC120’s all the way to Pumas, allowing it to reach a grand total of 150 successful transactions in just 5 years
2010 also saw the development of a new activity for Avinco, diversifying to offer Helicopter spare parts to operators worldwide, with a current available stock totaling over fifty thousand SA330 J and BO105 parts. This stock will soon be available online.
Avinco CEO , François Gautier, says "We are very optimistic for 2011 which offers promising perspectives for all our activity segments."
