Bell-Boeing get $20 million for V22 flight test contract

Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Tex., has been awarded a $20.8 million-fixed-fee modification by the U.S. Department of Defence to a previously issued delivery order (0122) placed against a basic ordering agreement (N00019-12-G-0006) in support of the MV-22.


This modification exercises an option for flight test sustainment support including test planning and execution, flight clearances, and technical reviews. Work will be performed at Patuxent River, Md. (51.8 per cent); Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (26.7 per cent); and Fort Worth, Texas (21.5 per cent), and is expected to be completed in December 2016.

Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $20,809,451 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
