Breeze-Eastern introduces Tech Works

January 26, 2015  By Breeze-Eastern

Feb. 25, 2015, Whippany, N.J. - Breeze-Eastern Corporation has established an advanced innovation and new product development organization called Breeze Tech Works.

Company CEO and President Brad Pedersen said the Tech Works mission is to rapidly bring to market customer-driven product improvements and next-gen technologies.

“We are taking a fresh view at everything we do and applying the principles of rapid innovation to help customers advance the safety and effectiveness of the rescue mission,” Pedersen said. “Lots of people talk about innovation, but for us, challenging the status quo is becoming a way of life.”

Breeze Tech Works is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and led by Brad Repp, vice president of Product Development. His team is currently focused on engineering and flight test activities required to begin production of the MissionView™ Situational Awareness System, as well as other new product enhancements that Breeze-Eastern will preview to customers in its private Innovation Room at Heli-Expo 2015.

“We’ve made it our mission to reinvent products that have changed very little in the last 50 years,” Pedersen said. “The development of MissionView and Tech Works are big steps that will lead to big leaps ahead.”
