March 13, 2012, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Night Flight Concepts (NFC) is pleased to announce that the Broward County Sheriff’s Office has renewed commitments for a comprehensive Night Vision Goggle training program from Night Flight Concepts – BCSO’s designated NVG solution provider.

The training program includes renewal of NVIO™ NVG Initial and Recurrent Computer-Based Training (CBT) for pilots and fire rescue crewmembers along with NVG flight training conducted on location in the EC-135 helicopter.

NVIO™ NVG CBT features state-of-the-art, FAA-approved, web delivered, self-paced instruction for pilots and crewmembers to meet Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) ground school training requirements. The system simplifies logistics, reduces the time and instructor assets required to train while at the same time improving the overall learning effectiveness for both pilots and crew.

“The ability to complete NVG courseware anytime and anywhere make the NVIO™ NVG CBT a very effective tool in our training arsenal”, stated Deputy Christine Ponticelli. “With our aggressive and constantly changing environment our pilots and crew really appreciate the flexibility and time savings NVIO provides. The Night Flight Concepts team and the NVIO™ NVG CBT, in particular, have exceeded all of our expectations. ”

“We are very pleased that our long time relationship with BCSO continues,” stated Adam Aldous President for Night Flight Concepts. “At NFC we are dedicated to supporting our clients, like BCSO, on the job to enhance night flight operations. Renewal of this blended NVG training program is a testament to the results our customers achieve.”
