image003April 30, 2015, North Bay, Ont. - Last week, Essential Helicopters celebrated its 2015 graduates at a convocation ceremony held at Canadore College’s Aviation Technology Campus.

The ceremony held on Saturday saw nearly 100 attendees as graduates crossed the stage.

“We are very proud to recognize our graduating pilots for their accomplishments over the past year,” said Essential Helicopter’s Elaine Ross. “These students worked extremely hard – the program is very demanding with the requirements set out by Transport Canada. In addition to these outcomes, graduates leave with extensive operational experience. It was a sincere honour to host family and friends this past weekend to celebrate students’ outstanding achievements.”

Essential Helicopters delivers the program in partnership with Canadore College. The two institutions have a long-standing relationship to cooperate in facilities and resource sharing, student recruitment and marketing, curriculum development and theoretical, simulation and experiential training delivery

Canadore College’s School of Aviation Technology graduates have nearly 100 per cent employment in the global aerospace sector. The College has 42 years of rich history and tradition in aviation with more than 3,100 graduates working all over Canada and around the world.

In September 2015, Essential Helicopters will be offering a new Fixed Wing Flight Training program for the first time.
