April 20, 2012, Charlotte, N.C. - Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc. has reorganized its hydraulic motion controls business, formerly Predator Systems, Inc., as the Fluid Controls business unit of the Curtiss-Wright Controls Flight Systems division.

The Fluid Controls business unit designs and manufactures motion control components and subsystems for ground defense, ordnance guidance and commercial aerospace applications.

“The Fluid Controls business unit is an industry leader in the development of proprietary electro-hydraulic technologies that significantly broaden Curtiss-Wright's motion control portfolio, further entrenching our position as a premier supplier for the aerospace and defense markets," said David Adams, Co-Chief Operating Officer of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. "Since bringing the Fluid Controls business into Curtiss-Wright, the marketplace has responded overwhelmingly to the engineering expertise and advanced product technologies that the group offers.”

The Fluid Controls business unit is a leading developer of key electro-hydraulic technologies including smart manifolds that feature embedded electronics, hydraulic motors and pumps, dampers, valves and hydraulic fuses. Curtiss-Wright Controls Flight Systems is headquartered in Shelby, NC. The Fluid Controls business unit, located in Boca Raton, FL, is an ISO9001-2008 Quality System Registration and AS9100 certified company. Markets served include commercial and military aerospace and ground defense.
