DART and Heli-Lynx Helicopters Sign Agreement

Dec. 5, 2007, Piney Flats, TN – DART Helicopter Services has signed an exclusive agreement with Heli-Lynx Helicopters of Stoney Creek, Ont., to manufacture and distribute accessories developed by Heli-Lynx for AS-350 and AS-355s.

Dec. 5, 2007, Piney Flats, TN – DART Helicopter Services has signed an exclusive agreement with Heli-Lynx Helicopters of Stoney Creek, Ontario, to manufacture and distribute aftermarket accessories developed by Heli-Lynx for AS-350 and AS-355 helicopters.
“While Heli-Lynx is primarily a premier helicopter engine service provider, the company has used its engineering expertise to develop aftermarket accessories that improve aircraft performance, reliability, safety and cost of ownership,” said Jeff Shapiro, president of DART Helicopter Services. “Our worldwide distribution service will ensure these accessories are in stock and available for operators of AS-350 and AS-355 series helicopters where ever they may be.”
Among the 25 Heli-Lynx-developed accessories now available online or through the DART catalogue are a series of products that improve power plant and power train performance and that create mission enhancement opportunities for operators.
“These products were all developed by our engineering department in the course of improving the performance of the power plants and power trains that we service on a routine basis,” said Mike Whitter, president of Heli-Lynx Helicopters. “Making them available through DART’s worldwide network is a natural extension of our service.”
“This agreement enables operators to receive state-of-the-art accessories designed to make their operations safer, more reliable and more cost effective and to do it through a known and trusted distribution network,” Shapiro said.
