DART announces FAA, Transport Canada and EASA approval of low gear crosstubes

Feb. 14, 2008 - DART Aerospace Ltd., has received FAA, Transport Canada and EASA approval of their Low Gear Crosstubes for Bell 204/205/210/212/214/412 series helicopters.
Feb. 14, 2008 – DART Helicopter Services has announced today that their affiliated partner DART Aerospace Ltd., has received FAA, Transport Canada and EASA approval of their Low Gear Crosstubes for Bell 204/205/210/212/214/412 series helicopters.

DART’s crosstubes are manufactured by means of an environmentally friendly turning process and uses bonded, clamp-on stainless steel supports to enhance corrosion resistance and eliminate stress concentrations that could result from rivet holes in high stress areas of the crosstube.
DART’s crosstubes incorporate the following design features:
- Compatible with both DART Round-I-Beam™ and OEM skidtubes
- Installed using a thru bolt system rather than short bolts into anchor nuts
- Replace on condition (no life limit)
- All DART crosstubes are painted white ready to install
