March 4, 2008, Piney Flats, TN – Helicopter operators worldwide may now order night vision applications and products from DART Helicopter Services’ extensive inventory of aftermarket components and accessories. Under an agreement between DHS and United Rotorcraft Solutions, DHS initially offers night vision lighting applications and related products from URS for Bell 407 aircraft. The agreement was finalized at the Helicopter Association International’s annual meeting last week in Houston. Within 90 days, DHS will expand its offering to include NV applications and products for AS 350, BK 117 and Bell 206 helicopters, pending final approval of Supplemental Type Certificates pending with the FAA.

The agreement calls for additional selected URS products and services to be added to the DHS catalog as they are developed. Under the agreement, night vision cockpit and cabin applications are specifically designed for individual helicopters and installed by URS technicians at either the operator’s location, or at URS facilities in Decatur, TX.

“The DHS inventory continues to expand, offering high quality products from high quality manufacturers,” said Jeff Shapiro, president of DHS. “United Rotorcraft Solutions’ night vision products are a valuable addition for us and for our customers.”

“The addition of our products to the DHS inventory provides broader worldwide access to night vision applications and products,” said David Brigham, president of URS, which will continue to offer its product line through its internal distribution system.
