June 1, 2012, Yellowknife, N.W.T. - Det’on Cho Corporation announced today that it has completed the sale of its 51 per cent equity interest in Trinity Helicopters to Donnie and Joan Robinson.

Established in 2009 by Det’on Cho Corporation and long-time Northerners Rob Carroll and Geoff Furniss, Trinity Helicopters has grown to include a fleet of 19 helicopters across all three territories. The sale comes as Det’on Cho Corporation re-focuses its near-term business objectives.

“Our experience with Trinity Helicopters was a successful one but as a company we are focusing on our interests in construction, logistics and remediation” said Roy Erasmus Jr., CEO of Det’on Cho Corporation, “We wish them nothing but the best as they move forward with their business.”

Rob Carroll, President of Trinity Helicopters, is looking forward to continuing to build Trinity’s presence in the North with new partners.

“As a company, Trinity has benefited greatly from our partnership with Det’on Cho, and we’re looking forward to working with Donnie and Joan to continue building our structure and establishing a full-time presence in all three territories across the North.”
Donnie and Joan Robinson also expressed their excitement about working with Trinity.
