Discovery Air announce appointment of directors

Oct. 17, 2011, Yellowknife, N.W.T. - Discovery Air Inc. announced today the appointment of Kenneth B. Rotman and G. John Krediet to its Board of Directors, thereby increasing the slate to eight positions.


Mr. Rotman is Co-C.E.O. and a Managing Director of Clairvest Group Inc., a Toronto based private equity management firm with approximately $1 billion of equity capital under management. Mr. Rotman is also the Chairman and a co-founder of Wellington Financial which provides short term lending to emerging companies, principally in the technology arena. He earned a B.A. from Tufts University in 1988, a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in 1989 and a M.B.A. from New York University in 1991. Mr. Rotman is currently a Director of the following corporations: Clairvest Group, Light Tower Rentals, Wellington Financial and Peer 1 Networks. Mr. Rotman also sits on the not-for-profit boards of HonestReporting Canada, The LSE North American Advisory Board and the University Health Network.

Mr. Krediet has more than 25 years’ experience in leading and growing companies in the soft-drink and bottled water industries. Under his leadership, these companies made numerous acquisitions and experienced substantial growth, organically and through acquisitions. He is an active investor and is currently Chairman of C.F. Capital Management LLC, an investment company he founded in 1987. Mr. Krediet has served and continues to serve on several corporate boards. Earlier in his career, Mr. Krediet worked in various roles in Europe and the United States at G.E. Capital, Citibank and AmroBank. Mr. Krediet holds a Masters degree in Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
