PERMANENT FULL TIME AIRCRAFT ENGINEER

APPLICANT MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING:
  • A valid M1 or M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
  • Held an ACA at a recognized AMO facility
  • A valid driver’s license
  • ICAO Certification would be an asset
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
  • Conduct maintenance on aircraft or aircraft components in accordance with the applicable standards of airworthiness
  • Troubleshoot faulty systems to determine a course of rectification
  • Track and plan maintenance activities, and coordinate with Dispatch
  • Maintain aircraft records using computerized tracking system
  • Supervise junior engineers and apprentices, as required
  • Ensure all paperwork for assigned tasks is complete and accurate before submitting
  • Ensure all maintenance alerts and memos are read, understood and complied with
  • Carry out the applicable elementary servicing release of an aircraft as
  • authorized to do so by their individual Shop Certification Authority (SCA)
  • Engineers will take responsibility for an additional duties as they are assigned.
Qwest Helicopters is a certified AMO. All required scheduled maintenance is carried out at our hangar in Fort Nelson.
Ratings in the following aircraft type would be an asset: B206, B205, AS350 and AS365 helicopter.

ANNUAL COMPENSATION $120-$140K depending on experience

PERMANENT FULL TIME AND 2024 SEASONAL HELICOPTER PILOT

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING:
  • Must have 1500 hrs. PIC rotary time
  • Willing to relocate to Fort Nelson, BC for the season
  • Hold a valid Canadian Commercial Helicopter Pilot License
  • Be fluent in English
  • Must have firefighting experience
  • Wildlife Capture Experience would be an asset
JOB DUTIES:
  • Daily inspection of helicopter
  • Flying in the Fort Nelson area which could include: transportation of customers for crew changes, bush pilot operations, search and rescue, aerial surveys, med-evacs, forest firefighting, bucketing, longlining
  • Helping on ground and around the hangars as required
ANNUAL COMPENSATION $48.-58./hr NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
