Education alert: HAI seeking great presentations

June 11, 2014  By Carey Fredericks

June 11, 2014, Alexandria, Va. - Helicopter Association International (HAI) is developing the education program for Heli-Expo 2015, and is seeking proposals for Professional Education courses and Rotor Safety Challenge sessions from qualified persons or vendors.

Professional Education courses are fee-based offerings, which HAI strives to enhance, expand and adjust based on the needs of the industry. To that end, HAI is accepting proposals from vendors for courses on new subject matter, as well as competitive proposals for previously offered courses.

Meanwhile, the Rotor Safety Challenge features free safety events and short sessions, conveniently scheduled on show days, that provide a forum for helicopter professionals to learn industry best practices. HAI is inviting all industry experts and educators interested in volunteering on behalf of the industry to submit a proposal for a 60-minute Rotor Safety Challenge session to be delivered during Heli-Expo 2015.

All proposals must be received by June 16 via the HAI website. Questions may be directed to Anne Nevel, HAI’s manager of education programs, at 703-302-8467 or anne.nevel@rotor.org.
