Bell Textron reached a purchase agreement with Ginger Aviation for the first single-engine Bell 407GXi helicopter to be delivered in Taiwan.

Founded by Taiwanese conglomerates in the utilities and aviation industry in 2022, Ginger Aviation plans to use its Bell 407GXi to address a growing demand for helicopter powerline wash and inspections in country. The helicopter is scheduled to be delivered later this year.

“We are honoured that Ginger Aviation has selected the Bell 407GXi as the first helicopter in their fleet,” said Jacinto Monge, managing director, Asia Pacific, Bell. “Given the Bell 407’s strong track record in the utility segment globally, we are confident Ginger Aviation’s Bell 407GXi is the right aircraft for powerline wash and management.

There are more than 1,500 Bell 407s operating around the world in six continents, surpassing six million total fleet flight hours.
