Fixed wing, rotary assault continues on Waterton fire

Premier Rachel Notley says the province is hoping for greater success in fighting the eastern edge of the Kenow wildfire Tuesday but the situation remains touch-and-go.
In a news conference from Fort McMurray, Notley said the fire, which has forced the evacuation of Waterton National Park and destroyed the park’s visitor’s centre, had grown 50 per cent overnight to encompass roughly 20,000 hectares of land. | READ MORE
