FLIR Systems announces $15.8 million deal

Jan. 27, 2011, Portland, OR - FLIR Systems, Inc. announced it has been awarded a delivery order totaling $15.8 million for its Star SAFIRE® II stabilized multi-sensor systems to support the U.S. Army MEDEVAC program.


The units delivered under this order will be employed on the Army MEDEVAC UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Work under this contract will be performed out of FLIR's facilities in Wilsonville, OR, with deliveries expected to be completed within the next twelve months.
