HAC president & CEO Brian Jenner suspended
Feb. 4, 2008 - Brian Jenner, President & CEO of the Helicopter Association of Canada, has been suspended with pay for 45 days effective Feb. 1, 2008.
Feb. 4, 2008 – On Fri., Feb. 1, 2008, the HAC released the follow information:
Recent events involving the President & CEO of the Helicopter Association of Canada has caused the Board of Directors of the Helicopter Association of Canada serious concern as to the Association’s effectiveness in representing our members within the helicopter industry. The Board of Directors continues to gather information and deliberate these recent events, their effect on our Association and how best to continue our effective representation of our industry. To this end, effective immediately, the following motion was unanimously agreed to by the Board of Directors:
“Brian Jenner, President & CEO of the Helicopter Association of Canada, be suspended with pay for 45 days effective February 1, 2008, during which time the Board of Directors of the Helicopter Association of Canada will undertake a review of the President & CEO’s role, responsibilities and performance. No activities or representations on behalf of HAC will be made by Brian Jenner during his suspension. During Brian Jenner’s suspension, any official HAC requests or business are to be forwarded to and handled by the Board of Directors.”
Based on the above, the Board of Directors asks that any comments, requests or official business be forwarded to a Director(s) during Brian Jenner’s suspension.
