HAC to hold AGM & Safety Forum virtually in late November

The Helicopter Association of Canada is hosting a virtual edition of its 25th annual conference from November 3o to December 2, 2020, with free registration to industry members. The conference will include the association’s Annual General Meeting, Safety Forum, a range of presentations and committee meetings.

The virtual event’s preliminary agenda includes OEM technical briefings by Bell Textron Canada (one for light and light-twin helicopters and second session for mediums) and Airbus Helicopters Canada on November 30, beginning at 11:30 am 1:oo pm and 2:00 pm PDT (all times presented in PDT).

On December 1, HAC plans to holds three primary information sessions with an opening keynote beginning at 11:00 am from Fred North on helicopter film operations. Kathy Fox, chair of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, will also present an hour-long session examining accidents over the past year. HAC president and CEO Fred Jones will then lead a Q&A with Nick Robinson of Transport Canada. Day 2 of the virtual event will also include the association’s AGM, beginning at 1:00 pm.

Sessions on December 2, beginning at 11:00 am, will focus on three committee meetings, including Flight Training, Safety & Quality, and Air Taxi & Aerial Work.
