This course will provide attendees with the essential skills required to develop, implement, and manage an effective organizational safety system. Emphasis is placed on understanding the principles of System Safety, accident causation, risk management, and the application of those principles within a structured process. This course is taught by Michael J. Alvarado. He is a faculty member at the University of San Francisco and has previously taught Human Factors and Safety Management in the Aviation Safety Program at the University of Southern California.
