Helistar to buy three Eurocopter EC145 helicopters

Oct. 17, 2011, Mexico City, Mex. - Colombia-based Helistar has signed an agreement with Eurocopter Group subsidiary Eurocopter de Mexico to buy three EC145 helicopters.
Helistar currently has a fleet of 18 aircraft and the latest purchase will increase it's helicopter fleet to seven EC145s.
The eight-seat EC145 is a medium-sized, twin-engine helicopter suitable for the needs of the oil and gas industry.
Helistar, which specializes in passenger transport for the oil and gas sector, will receive the first two additional aircraft by 2012, followed by the third in 2013.
