Sept. 10, 2008 – Honeywell  announced on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, that it
has entered into a teaming agreement with LOM PRAHA s.p. of the Czech
Republic to provide platform logistics – helicopter overhaul and
maintenance, inspections, parts supply chain management, pilot
training, and aftermarket services.

“Honeywell and LOM PRAHA have forged a new agreement to offer
helicopter operators an extensive line of critical aircraft services,”
said Paolo Carmassi, Honeywell Aerospace President, Europe, the Middle
East, Africa and India. “With the finalization of this agreement, we
create a strategic relationship to offer a full range of services for
the Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopters.

“It was a strategic benefit to find a local partner with the full range
of expertise and long history in the helicopter maintenance business,”
Carmassi said. “The primary objective of the contract is to service
Russian helicopters Mi-8/Mi-17 by providing operators with total
logistic support for passenger, cargo, search and rescue, and other
critical missions.”

More than 12,000 Mi-8/Mi-17 turboshaft multi-mission helicopters have
been delivered throughout the world. The teaming agreement further
completes the Honeywell portfolio of service offerings on the Mi-17 and
complements our existing product portfolio and technologies that have
been installed on many helicopters around the world.”
