March 2, 2011, Orlando, Fla. – Integrated Microwave Technologies (IMT), a Business Unit within the Vitec Group’s Videocom Division, and a leader in advanced digital microwave systems for MAG (Military, Aerospace & Government) markets, is showcasing its SRx HD/SD Dual Input Diversity COFDM Receiver at HELI-EXPO 2011 (Booth 2910).

Built in a durable, weather resistant package, the SRx is a ruggedized dual diversity COFDM receiver that combines exceptional RF performance and ease of operation. In addition, it features superb H.264 SD and HD decoding.

“The SRx Dual Diversity Input COFDM Receiver was designed for the MAG market and we are proud to bring it to HELI-EXPO,” says Stephen Shpock, president, Integrated Microwave Technologies. “The SRx features AES decryption capabilities, making it ideal for public security monitoring, covert surveillance and other secure transmission applications.”

Supporting a broad array of video output signals, including HD, ASI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI (SDI is auto switched depending on signal received), the SRx also has a composite video output, which is down converted to SD when receiving HD signals. The SRx receiver uses standardized cables and requires no special adapters.

The SRx also features an Ethernet port for streaming video over a LAN to remote software or hardware decoders. This allows many remote viewers to monitor the same video simultaneously, increasing situational awareness.

Requiring little set up, the SRx rapidly configures itself depending on the signal being received. For advanced functions, such as changing frequency plans, AES encryption keys, or unit naming, an easy-to-use administration software package is supplied. This software package allows an administrator to configure up to 16 custom presets. The presets can store as much or as little information as the administrator wishes. Access control permits the administrator to be fully confident that the end user cannot corrupt the configurations set up by the administrator. The SRx has an easy to use interface that facilitates simple, straightforward preset selection. The user interface provides rapid user assessment of signal strength, demodulator lock, decryption status and decoding indicators.
