July 4, 2014, Fort Erie, Ont. - Fox Aviation of Montreal, Que. has taken delivery of the first EC130 T2 helicopter in Canada. The aircraft will be flown privately and is the third Airbus Helicopters (formally Eurocopter) aircraft in the past 13 years to be selected by Fox Aviation. The initial purchase was for an EC120, followed by an EC130 B4 and now the EC130 T2, the latest evolution of the EC130 helicopter.

April 14, 2014, Shanghai, China - Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. has announced that the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has issued a validation type certificate for the S-76D aircraft, allowing Sikorsky to begin delivering the commercial helicopter to customers in China. The announcement was made at the 2014 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition.

March 19, 2014, Sesto Calende, Italy - Rotorsim, the joint venture owned equally by CAE and AgustaWestland today announced that a joint team from ENAC (the Italian Civil Aviation Authority) and the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) has certified the world's first AW189 full-flight simulator (FFS) to Level D, the highest qualification for flight simulators.
