IQonboard updates iOS payload app

(Image: IQonboard) IQonboard based in Squamish, British Columbia, has released the latest version of its iOS app through Apple Store. The company provides a wearable technology and software solution that automatically populates a digital flight manifest, and calculates total payload.
This data can be viewed live in the cockpit and is communicated by satellite or cellular to ground dispatch in real-time. IQonboard explains no pilot data entry or manual calculations are required.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to improve user experience and making our app widely available through Apple Store allows flexibility in adapting to the changes in pilots and devices that our customers encounter, on the go” said Vincent Hoog, CEO of IQonboard. “We’re pleased to be moving forward with this and see it as the next logical step in the evolution of our technology and services.”
The IQonboard app is compatible with iPad/iPhone, iOS version 11.0 or greater, and provides a real-time dashboard view to who and what is onboard. The app works in conjunction with IQtag beacons that are assigned to crew, cargo, and assets. Real-time visibility to ground operations is provided through IQmap interactive map software that’s accessible from any device’s web browser.
