Legendary Bambi Bucket turns 30

February 13, 2012  By Carey Fredericks

Feb. 13, 2012, Delta, B.C. - SEI Industries Ltd. (SEI) is pleased to announce that it’s world-famous Bambi Bucket has just turned thirty.

Beginning in 1982, the Bambi Bucket’s easy-to-use, lightweight, collapsible design revolutionized aerial firefighting by improving initial attack response times to wildfires.

“SEI is very proud of the Bambi Bucket’s legacy but we’re also very cognizant that much of our success is a result of the valuable feedback we’ve received from our customers.  It was this feedback that led to product improvements and spurred new innovations,” says Shawn Bethel, SEI’s Firefighting Division Manager.  “Over the years, our relationship with the aerial firefighting community has helped us to make a better bucket and, for this, we are truly grateful.”

While SEI celebrates 30 years of legendary firefighting history, they will also be marking the milestone with the 2012 launch of a new valve – the Bambi MAX.  SEI invites all attendees of HAI’s Heli-Expo in Dallas, Texas, to visit booth #812 and ask about SEI’s 30th anniversary celebrations and to see the latest in innovative helicopter bucketing technology.
