Mecaer Aviation Group adds aircraft capabilities to list

February 5, 2015  By Mecaer Aviation Group

March 5, 2015, Orlando, Fla. - Mecaer Aviation Group (MAG) has expanded its capabilities to its FAA Repair Station in the United States.

MAG recently added several aircraft to its capabilities list to include Airbus Helicopter models AS-350B2/3, EC-135 and the BK-117 series along with Bell Helicopter’s 206 series, 407 and the Bell 429. Previous models included Agusta Westland’s 119, 109 and 139 series helicopters along and the MD500 series.

The increased capabilities are a result of recent expansion in the North East and part the company’s plan to offer additional 3rd party services to operators in this region.  In addition MAG now has the capability to perform pitot static and transponder tests.

“These additional aircraft on our capabilities list are major milestones in our long term plan to be a one stop solution for helicopter completions, customizing and MRO.” said Ed Pears, president of MAG, Inc. “The Airbus Helicopters and Bell Helicopter models are very timely as we continue to certify new STC’s on these specific airframes.” Pears continued.

MAG recently completed an Air Medical System STC for the EC-145T2 and has plans for multiple STC’s with other OEM’s later this year.  MAG’s facilities will be an option for operators to have these specific STC’s installed.
