BBA Aviation’s Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company Dallas Airmotive is adding Rolls-Royce Model 250 services at its Dallas Love Field Regional Turbine Center (RTC).

“We are expanding our helicopter services footprint,” stated BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul President, Hugh McElroy. “The Southwestern U.S. is very active with helicopter operations and is demanding of greater focus that our 40 years of expertise on the Model 250 can bring. The DFW area has been chosen for the RTC base due to its central location combined with a high level of local activity. We’ll be adding other helicopter engines to our DFW offerings in the near future, but the 250 was the logical place to start.”

The Dallas RTC, located in Hangar C at Love Field (DAL), will offer overhaul, repair and exchange on the full range of Model 250 engines, modules, accessories and components. It will leverage the company’s extensive component repair network as well as its parts supply companies that offer a broad range of helicopter support for new, overhauled, and exchange materials.

The new services at Love Field RTC will be available during the second quarter of this year. Dallas Airmotive also operates RTCs for the Rolls-Royce Model 250 in Phoenix, Arizona and Dayton, Ohio with full overhaul and test services at Premier Turbines in Neosho, Missouri.
