Latitude hires avionics industry veteran Jeff Taberner
“Jeff adds 12-years of aviation sales and service experience to our team,” said Latitude Technologies President, Mark Insley. “He is highly respected throughout the industry for his dedication to customer service, his product knowledge and his aviation industry experience.”
As Senior Account Manager, Taberner will actively work with Latitude senior management and the sales and marketing team to identify new market sectors, sales channels, and synergistic partnership opportunities. He will also provide advice on international markets. Over the last decade Taberner has worked closely with offshore air fleet operators, law enforcement agencies and emergency medical transport operators. Prior to Sky Connect, Taberner worked for EDMO Distributors where he maintained and serviced more than 1,200 accounts in North America selling avionics supplies and equipment to avionics repair shops, maintenance, repair and overhaul operations and training facilities.
“Over the last few years I have watched Latitude Technologies continue to develop new products,” said Taberner. “Their team has great enthusiasm, engages the industry and develops innovative ideas that address needs within the industry. The company’s abilities to handle everything in-house and take care of all aspects of the business appealed greatly to me. Their production line is handled internally and there is 24-hour technical support for customers. All of those factors made me extremely excited to join the Latitude Technologies team. I know that customers will get the best products and support available in the industry.”
Customer service and community leadership is not limited to Taberner’s aviation industry experience. Outside of the industry Taberner served as the Mayor of the town of Fairfield, Washington, was a town councilman, and served the local Chamber of Commerce. He continues to be involved with community activities in his hometown of Newman Lake, Washington.
