New CBA announced at Northstar Aerospace

Nov. 14, 2011, Milton, Ont. - Northstar Aerospace (Canada) Inc. and the Canadian Auto Workers (Local 112) have finalized a new collective bargaining agreement for the workforce at the company's Milton, Ontario plant. Union membership ratified the agreement today.


Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed. Unionized employees at the Milton plant went on strike at 12:01am October 13, 2011.

"We are pleased to have the workforce back to focus on servicing our customers. We thank our customers for their support and commit to them that the collective team will work hard to satisfy their requirements for high quality components to be delivered on schedule and to make up for any deliveries delayed by the stoppage" said Peter Jackson, President of Canadian Operation . Mr. Jackson also
added "the company respects the collective bargaining process and both parties treated each other with dignity and respect throughout the negotiations".
