Able Aerospace launches Preferred™ overhaul program

March 2, 2011, Pheonix, Ariz. – Operators of Eurocopter AS350 and Bell 407 and 206
helicopters can realize overhaul and repair savings ranging from 35 to 70 percent using Able
Preferred™, a new program from Able Aerospace Services.

Able Preferred offers a full range of safe, FAA-approved dynamic component overhauls for
these helicopters. Able Preferred overhauls are an alternative to OEM solutions that scrap
expensive out-of-service parts and replace them with new. Able also provides a cost-effective
alternative to third-party MRO service stations due to its “captive shop” approach, with all of
the work performed in-house, with little to no outsourcing. In fact, Able frequently performs
work for third-party repair stations that don’t have the capabilities to perform the repairs
themselves.
