DART’s interiors for Bell helicopters

Oct. 20, 2009 – DART Helicopter Services has announced that their affiliated partner, DART Aerospace Ltd., has received FAA certification of their expanded line of Interior Trim Panels and Cabin Floor and Baggage Compartment Protectors for the 206A/B, 206L series and 407 helicopters.  Transport Canada and EASA approvals have been previously received.

DART's expanded line of Interior Trim Panels

Durable, lightweight interior trim and protection panels improve the aesthetics of the aircraft interior and provide protection against wear and damage. Constructed of quality engineered, impact resistant aerospace grade thermoplastic alloy, all DART trim panels feature superior resistance to warping or cracking in service.  All kits are available in both ivory and grey.

DART interior trim and protection panels have been certified to latest installation and fire resistance requirements; following these stringent criteria has resulted in a design with superior installation attachment and therefore a more securely fitted product.

DART Utility Trim Kits for 206A/B aircraft provide the protection and aesthetics of necessary panels without the additional costs and weight associated with non-essential trim panels.  The Utility Trim Kit consists of fwd overhead, vertical tunnel, aft overhead panels and hat bin.  Hat bins are also available for 206L Series and 407 aircraft; complete utility trim kits for the 206L Series are currently in development and certification is expected fourth quarter 2009.

DART Floor Protectors are designed for durability and provide protection for the floor and carpeting against passenger and crew traffic.  Now available for the Bell 206A/B, 206L Series and Bell 407 aircraft.

DART Baggage Compartment Protectors install on the forward wall and the floor of the aft baggage compartment using existing fastener locations.  The wall and floor protectors guard against costly damage to honeycomb panels from stowed cargo in the baggage compartment.  Now available for the Bell 206A/B/ 206L Series and Bell 407 aircraft.
