ITS Overhauled Turbine

Anaheim, California, Feb. 21, 2009 – BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company International Turbine Service (ITS) is offering operators of Rolls-Royce Model 250 engines a cost saving alternative when complying with CEB–1365 and TP CEB–1345. ITS can supply zero-time overhauled turbines in exchange for units in need of overhaul as used on Model 250-C20B, -C20F, -C20J and -B17 engine models.

An ITS overhauled turbine can offer operators substantial savings compared with overhauling an existing unit which requires replacement of the third and fourth stage nozzles and wheels per CEB-1365 and TP CEB-1345.

“By exchanging a run-out turbine for one of our newly overhauled units, operators can save both time and money,” commented ITS Director of Operations, Tracy Hordies. “Operators have the peace of mind of knowing that our turbines are overhauled by Rolls-Royce approved AMC facilities.”

ITS offers a No Bill-Back Guaranteed Exchange Price based on the condition of the incoming core. “We have a limited supply of these turbines,” continued Hordies. “After these are sold, operators will need to replace their worn out third and fourth stage nozzles and wheels with new ones at considerably greater cost.”
