NEO – the new generation kit helicopter

April 10, 2008, Mainz, Germany – World premiere at the ILA 2008: NEO, the new generation light helicopter, will be presented to the public for the first time.

NEO is the basis for a future production of  kit helicopters. Meanwhile, testing of the prototype is in steady progress. NEO has been developed by Björn Jung, an aeronautical engineer from Mainz, Germany.

NEO features a sportive and elegant styling which stands for its dynamic appearance. Numerous details in the exterior and interior underscore its outstanding quality. The concept of NEO combines the most advanced technologies available in aeronautical design today. Especially, focus is put on versatility and ruggedness, cabin size and luggage capacity, as well as low pilot workload and easy handling. Neo’s modular design combined with a reduced parts count results in a high technical effectiveness.
