FAA Approves Able’s Latest 206 PMA Part

July 20, 2009,Phoenix, AZ – This week the FAA granted PMA approval to Able Aerospace to provide low-cost replacements of Bell 206 main rotor yoke bearings (OEM p/n 206-011-118-001; Able p/n 2AA-011-118-001). Able will immediately begin offering the replacement yoke bearings from their facility in Phoenix, Arizona.

“We are very excited to provide another affordable replacement part to 206 operators,” said Able Aerospace's president, Anthony Saenz. “We offer certified, guaranteed parts that erase long lead-times and significantly reduce operating costs immediately.”

The FAA grants approval through its Aircraft Certification Office and Manufacturing Inspection District Office. It is the same process and offices the original manufacturer goes through.
