Nov. 8, 2007, Montreal, Que.- The Government of Canada notified CAE
that its response to the Government's Statement of Interest and Qualification
(SOIQ) for an Operational Training Systems Provider (OTSP) has been
deemed compliant. The OTSP is in support of the C-130J and CH-47
aircraft procurements announced earlier this year by the Government of
Canada.

CAE, which leads a team of Canadian companies pursuing this program, was
advised that it was the only bidder deemed compliant by the Government of
Canada.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) will release to CAE a
request for proposal to acquire equipment and aircrew training services over
20 years for Canada's future tactical airlift aircraft and helicopter fleets.
The Government of Canada is currently in the process of acquiring a fleet of
17 C-130J tactical airlift aircraft and is expected to acquire CH-47 Chinook
helicopters in the future.

"We are proud that our team has been chosen by the Government of Canada
and we applaud the government's decision to procure the aircrew training
capability outside of the aircraft acquisitions," said Robert E. Brown,
President and CEO of CAE. "This approach will ensure the Canadian Forces
receive a modern, leading-edge training capability developed in Canada by
specialist training service providers while maximizing industrial regional
benefits across Canada. CAE and our Canadian-based industry partners are
poised to benefit from a number of international opportunities related to
training for these platforms."

CAE has assembled a pan-Canadian team that brings together the major
Canadian training service providers, including:

        – MDA Ltd., based in Richmond, British Columbia;
        – NGRAIN, based in Vancouver, British Columbia;
        – Atlantis Systems International, based in Brampton, Ontario;
        – Bombardier, based in St-Laurent, Quebec;
        – Simgraph Inc., based in Laval, Quebec;
        – xwave, based in St-Johns, Newfoundland.
