REBTECH expands capability with growing demand

July 15, 2010, Bedford, Tx. - REBTECH is expanding its capability and capacity as a result of a growing demand for night vision capable equipment and services both for the military and civil aircraft markets.
The most active segments continue to be law enforcement and air medical aircraft. To meet the increasing demand, the company is adding technical and support staff as well as investing in additional equipment at their main location in Bedford, Texas. The military and Para-military market also continues to be a large part of the efforts at REBTECH. The company recently completed military NVG cockpit and cabin modifications in Canada, South America and the Middle East. Additionally, the company has performed NVG modifications on over 130 aircraft in the past 12 months for air medical customers around the U.S. Best known for its helicopter and airplane night vision cockpits and lighting systems, REBTECH is also exploring new techniques and applications for night vision capable lighting.

REBTECH specializes in airplane and helicopter NVG modification and conversions for cockpit, cabin and external airframe lighting. Covert lighting for tactical and/or military operations is also a large component of the ongoing research and development for the company. REBTECH will be exhibiting at the Airborne Law Enforcement Exposition & Conference this week in Tucson, AZ (Booth #506) and an example of their NVG conversion can be seen in the Texas DPS AS350B2 on the American Eurocopter booth #519. REBTECH recently received an order from the Broward County Sheriff Department to perform an NVG configuration of an EC135 addition to their current fleet which REBTECH has also performed NVG modifications on in the past.
