Rick Hill Named V.P., Operations and Commercial Programs at Helijet

Dec. 14, 2007, Richmond, B.C. - Daniel Sitnam, President and CEO of Richmond-based Helijet International Inc. has announced that Rick Hill is  the new V.P. of Operations and Commercial Programs, effective Dec. 1, 2007.

Dec. 14, 2007, Richmond, B.C. – Daniel Sitnam, President and CEO of Richmond-based Helijet International Inc. (HJI: TSX) is pleased to announce the naming of Rick Hill as Vice-President of Operations and Commercial Programs, effective Dec. 1, 2007.

In his new role, Hill will lead and oversee all facets of fixed wing jet and helicopter air service operating standards and commercial development, with the support of a highly qualified management team.

Hill has maintained a senior position with Helijet for 18 years and has managed commercial, financial and technical operations while overseeing the primary development of Helijet’s scheduled helicopter air services.

Hill’s extensive background in aviation leads back to overseeing financial reporting and route planning at CP Air, then at Canadian Airlines where he was instrumental in integrating Canadian’s regional network with the mainline parent carrier.

“Rick’s industry experience gives Helijet a tremendous advantage over other carriers,” said Sitnam. “Rick’s new role will channel his expertise for integrating operational and commercial standards within Helijet. That means keeping our high standard of safety; all the while further improving our already high level of customer service for our travelling clients.”
