VIH Aerospace gets new S-92 crew bubble window order

Arne Arneson, General Manager of VIH Aerospace explains that his company has been highly successful in designing, engineering and manufacturing specialized S-92 equipment and he sees the aircraft playing a more prominent role in his company’s future. He explains that in its purchase of an S-92 Crew Bubble Window (a vertical reference window); operators like Silkway Helicopters gain exposure to the entire range of quality engineered and manufactured products available from VIH Aerospace, and that initial customer interaction often leads to requests for other products that enhance S-92 operations.

Arneson points to that fact that VIH Aerospace has developed a number of systems for the S-92 helicopter; specifically for those in Search and Rescue (SAR) and offshore oil operations.

In addition to VIH Aerospace’s widely-deployed S-92 Auxiliary Fuel Installations, the company has developed a robust SAR package that includes FLIR and Nightsun II XP installations, as well as a fully-integrated console station that includes LCD displays, a comprehensive communications suite, a system controller and other features from which these systems can be effectively utilized.
