VIH Aerospace reveals brand evolution

March 2, 2016  By VIH Aerospace

VIH Aerospace has officially launched its revised brand at Heli-Expo 2016 – highlighted by a revised logo that distinguishes it from its parent. The new look also incorporates a bold visual identity that clearly identifies VIH Aerospace as a world-class maintenance, manufacturing, repair and overhaul (MMRO) provider, serving the global helicopter market. VIHA is exhibiting at Heli-Expo 2016-Booth #1209.

‘VIH Aerospace’s brand evolution is the result of a concerted effort from our team to clearly re-define, offer and effectively deliver our value proposition to the global helicopter market’ says Arne Arneson, General Manager for VIH Aerospace. ‘The immediate noticeable change is a revised company logo; one that we feel is more progressive in its design, and that is reflective of our renewed focus on being at the leading edge of our industry.

Throughout all aspects of our graphic branding and most importantly; through our service provision to our customers, our objective is to demonstrate that VIH Aerospace maintains a customer-first focus, and our goal is to provide safe, reliable and best-in-class MMRO services and customer support to our clients… without exception.

Arneson elaborates that the foundation of VIHA’s service offering remains helicopter MRO; however as a component of the company’s new brand, operators will note that VIHA is marketing itself using a new industry term: an MMRO. The ‘second M’ is significant to VIHA’s brand as it represents a fourth and equally important services pillar; MANUFACTURING explains Arneson.

VIH Aerospace’s brand evolution is accompanied by the launch of the company’s new website (www.vihaerospace.com) that over the coming months will include interactive features designed to provide its customers with information and resources that are targeted at increasing its focus on providing best in class MMRO support and enhancing its overall services offering.

For more than two decades, VIH Aerospace has been a leader in the design and development of Supplemental Type Certified products for the Bell Medium fleet, Sikorsky S-92 and S-61 helicopters as well as several Airbus models. Some of the company’s most popular and successful products include Night Vision systems, various types of Search and Rescue equipment and Vertical Reference windows; just to name a few. However, in 2016, VIHA has expanded its scope of manufacturing, and now includes two of Western Canada’s biggest fixed-wing aircraft operators among its growing list of helicopter and fixed-wing customers. ‘VIH Aerospace has earned the reputation and designation of a true global MMRO… and throughout 2016, we will continue to add to our capabilities and global reach in support of fleets across the globe,’ says Arneson.
