New study endorses use of helicopters for medical transport
The benefits and cost effectiveness of helicopter transport for severely injured patients is subject to continued debate. New research published in BioMed Central's open access journal Critical Care shows that for severe blunt trauma, patients transported by helicopter had a lower risk of death, compared to those transported by road.

Canadian Helicopters' name change completed
Canadian Helicopters Group Inc., an international provider of helicopter transportation and related support services, announced last week that, further to its news release dated May 14, 2012, the change of its name to HNZ Group Inc., as approved by its shareholders at its annual meeting on May 11, 2012, will be effective starting Sept. 25, 2012.
