Bell breaks ground on Lafayette facility
Bell Helicopter commenced construction of its facility in Lafayette, La., where the company will assemble its newest commercial helicopter, the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X. Governor Bobby Jindal, Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel and others joined Bell Helicopter’s President and CEO, John Garrison, to commemorate the occasion today at the Lafayette Regional Airport.

Aerolite gets STC for AW109SP stretcher kit
Aerolite recently received a FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for an AgustaWestland AW109SP quick change stretcher kit. The kit is meant for operators that need the capability to quickly reconfigure any AW109SP into a configuration with one or two stretchers.
